Categories of membership

Playing Membership
1. Full Playing Member
A Playing Member must be over 18 and on payment of the current subscription* is entitled to the following benefits:
  • Use of the Club bowling equipment
  • Coaching from other members  (particularly on most Wednesday evenings 5-7pm) throughout the season
  • Participation in 'roll ups' (friendly games with other members mainly  on Club nights) throughout the season
  • Participation in internal tournaments against other members
  • Playing home and away matches against other Bowling Clubs
  • Use of our reasonably-priced bar
  • Invitations to social events
  • Special rates for hiring the club house for your own private parties
  • Personal access to the Club at other times
  • New Playing Members receive a discount on their subscription in their first year of membership

2. Joint Playing Membership
The Club wishes to encourage applications from partners and spouses of full playing members.
  • Joint Playing Members have all the privileges of Full Playing Members as listed above
  • A discount is given on the joint subscription*
3. Junior Playing Member
​A Junior Playing Member may be aged up to 21 and for a discounted membership subscription* is entitled to the following benefits:
  • Use of the Club bowling equipment
  • Coaching from other members on Club nights (particularly on  most Wednesday evenings 5-7pm) throughout the season
  • Participation in 'roll ups' (friendly games with other members mainly on Club nights) throughout the season
  • Participation in internal tournaments against other members
  • Playing home and away matches against other Bowling Clubs

​Social Membership
  Social membership includes:
  • Use of our reasonably priced bar on Club nights (usually Tuesdays and Fridays, and some weekend) throughout the season 
  • Invitations to social events
  • Special rates for hiring the club house for your own private parties
