Results in External Matches
Prentice Cup - We lost to Brondesbury in the quarter final.
Cornish Cup - Pymmes Park were unable to raise a side for this Thursday. We wait to see if we will be given the six points or have to reorganise the game. See the most recent league table here.
Finchley Singles - Johnny lost out to Noel of Paddington in a tightly fought match which went to the last end.
Full details of the Singles Plate and Handicap competitions can be found here.
The Qualifying rounds have now taken place and the deadline for completion of first round matches is the 25th July.
A fixtures list is found here - you can download the form and use it to indicate your availability for future fixtures. Please regularly update your availability and send in to the Club Secretary email@example.com We want to encourage a culture where players who have indicated their availability in advance are given priority for selection.
The bar should be open most Tuesday and Friday evenings, and Saturday afternoons. At other times it is only open at the discretion of any committee members present or by arrangement. Last orders to be dispensed by 11pm on any evening (10.30pm on Sunday).
COVID rules apply until the 19th July, so that only parties of 6 or two households can mix within the clubhouse.
Please help out whenever possible by getting rid of rubbish and bringing glasses back to the bar (and ideally straight into the dishwasher after use). We are all volunteers helping to run the Club..
Whilst we were socialising outside, we took the opportunity to improve the facilities inside. (See the photos below and here). Better still drop by and enjoy a drink from the bar or try out our new pool table.
Open Tuesday and Friday (and Saturday afternoons) for Club nights from 5 pm during the playing season. Otherwise on match or competition days; and by arrangement with a key holder for private games or roll-ups.
New members always welcome - just turn up on the Club nights or email us in advance so one of us can meet you at the Clubhouse. We offer one to one coaching to novices (or less experienced players) to get you going.
We have a full fixtures list of competitive fixtures in 2021 (subject to Covid and Government regulations) as well as our normal internal competitions and roll ups.
For details of fixtures please see the Playing page.
